From childhood, I've been a freelance writer.
From my childhood, I was destined to write. Here is an excerpt from my kindergarten teacher, Ms. Ada Waughtel, in a letter that she wrote to my parents on January 22, 1959.
"Georgia is a very happy child and helps to make all her friends happy....She will contribute to our discussion periods, is a good listener...speaks clearly and softly...[and] uses good English. She enjoys being a leader for the group and respects the rights of others....She listens attentively, is able to follow directions and responds quickly to my requests....
She has many interests, but finishes one activity before starting another. She has...creative ability....I'm sure her happy and friendly smile will be a boost to her development."
See what I mean? I was born to write, lead, teach, speak and help other people shine. It's my call.
Since I entered the workforce five decades ago during my high school years, I've been pursuing many avenues, but they have all led to the call to write. I love to write what God puts on my heart. Now, it's time to walk in my calling.
I have been delightfully married to my husband, Skip since 1972. We have four children and ten grandchildren. We live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia with our four Yorkies (two are adopted).
Thank you for taking a look at my site and for considering me for your writing needs.
